MATRIARCHY NOW - CENTERING CARE

I'm tired of waiting or quietly stating in hushed tones what we need. We need this now and we've needed it for a long time.

What does this mean? For a start, it means, we stop acting like we're not leaders already in families, communities, and the workplace.

We stop staying quiet when the men around us have bad ideas that are not inclusive or nuanced.

We stop waiting for the men in charge to develop the moral compass we already have.

Violence is amoral, in all its forms. We need to stop making excuses for it or tuning out from this obvious fact.

We have to start in our own circle of influence, in ways that are safe, but that may stretch us.
